About Me

I work part-time for the AARP Foundation, helping senior citizens find jobs. Some day I plan to retire and write full time about the many things that I have seen and done in my life.

I have done quite a lot of reading about the mysteries and historical happenings here in South Carolina, especially local history. After a few years of travelling and visiting libraries and other sites, I've thought about writing a book about the last days of the Civil War in the surrounding South Carolina counties.

On weekends I love spending time with friends, even if only to shop and eat in some restaurant while having a good talk. The little pleasures in life are great to share with others. I have two children, a son and daughter, with four grandchildren and two great grand children.
